Hello. This week i wrote about local heroes from the New Zealand Mosque Shooting. This will explain about a person, named Cathy White. I hope this tells you something

Where were they

Cathy was standing at the kitchen bench of her house. She took a glance out the window and remembered that the street used to be packed. 

What did they do?

She supposed that a woman was attempting to find a parking slot before the servicing. As she was peeking from out the window, she heard shooting and saw people running in fear. She immediately called the police and went to the front door and let the scared people into her home to keep them safe. 

Why did they get involved?

Because she wanted to save some pupils' lives.

Did they earn any bravery awards?

Can’t find it on the website and google so no.

How has their life been affected?

In the shooting she felt useless wishing that she could save more people. In the next 10 days she reunited with El Hajji and had been given a lot of thanks by a lot of other people.

Making my music CtB

Hello this week (last week of the term) in CtB (Counting the beat) i have. The genre of my music is Excitement/Freedom. For this i used a website (Kapwing) recommended by my teacher. The original video was the falling truck scene from finding dory but silent, so that i had to add music to it.  I hope you like it.

Political Decision-Making

Hello. This week in Hurumanu 1, 7 we have been learning about Political Decision-Making. New Zealand. In this i will explain about how often the the general elections are, how we select our Government in a general elections and steps to passing a new law adding the last part to comparing it as in the steps we got to do.

How do we select our Government in a General Election?: There are twos votes that we have. There is first the government vote, and second the party vote. 

How often are general elections: The general elections happen every three years. 

What are the steps parliament to pass a new law and comparing this to our class treaty: 

1. The people go into groups and expand a profession. This is like our treaty because we have to go into groups and do work.

2. Other people from the parliament checked the work they've done and altered it if they needed to. For our class treaty, our class are given the work from other groups and changed it if they needed to.

3. Then they insert their agreement into a authorised arrangement. This is similar to our treaty because  we put our treaty into a formal format. 

4. The work gets examined.  This is also similar to our treaty because we get it checked as a whole class.

5. Then it goes through the procedure of being stated the royal assent which is the part that it becomes a law. the sovereign's typical, the governor general, gives the royal assent. This is like our treaty because we also at the end sign the agreement.

Challenges that hes faced: He got burned while singing for a Pepsi-Cola commercial. He had a skin condition, Vitiligo. He collapsed  in 1995 apparent dehydration and low blood pressure.
