Floods

Hello Welcome to my blog post about the flood that happened on May  30-31.

What had happened

This year in 2021 New Zealand May 30-31 there was a flood in Canterbury. The flood has done some critical damage to our some of our buildings and has caught some people that were in cars and kept them trapped for some time until the helicopters came. The damage from the floods has washed away a total amount $500,000. Some schools have closed down due to the flood and has damaged some farms also.

Safety Tips

Get to high ground.

Don't drive through flood waters or walk through, as it because it could be contaminated.

If authorities tell you to escape. Go quick as you can to get your pets and getaway bag if you have any.

Goodbye

I hope this helped you get some information about the flood and we hope that this wouldn't happen again.
