Maui wanted to slow the sun down because the day was too short and the night too long.
So maui told his brothers to make flax ropes when the flax ropes were ready when the sun came higher and higher maui yellowed now!
His brothers jumped out and maui brothers
Pulled the sun maui beat the sun again and again the brothers pulled the ropes tight the sun was nearly dead so the sun went slowly across the sky and maui had plenty of time to fish and had plenty of time time to eat
