What A Disaster

Hello WALT learn about things that is damaging and our enivornment.

How did this problem occur?

This problem occurred from a ship on its way to travel to Tauranga and then the ship. The ship had 1700 tonnes of heavy fuel oil in it. The oil is also toxic to marine life. It has killed around 20000 birds. And a lot of fish in the sea. The birds is now like a brown statue stuck in the sea.

Is it a easy problem to solve

It is a kinda easy problem to solve because you just have to get protective gear then you dig the oil up with something. The thing about it is that it will take a really long time to dig mostly all the oil.

How you can help with situation

You call people that can help dig the oil and they will help you dig up the oil in the sand. You can also try and help by getting your own protective oil gear and something to dig so you can help as well.  

 

Hole In The Ozone

WALT learn about environmental issues so we can learn how we can protect the earth                                                                                                        

What is the ozone?

The ozone is a cold blue gas in the atmosphere that is covering Antarctica and that is why it is so cold. 

How did the problem occur?

This problem occurred from environmental issues. The ozone got thinner than how it was before. It is a bad thing because it will let more UV hit our earth.

     

Is this problem easy to solve?

This is not easy to solve because lots of people on earth are damaging our ozone layer and damaging earth at the same time. we are damaging the ozone by doing stuff bad environment. If we keep damaging our enviroment the whole earth will be like a desert.

How can we help with this problem?

We can help with this problem by telling people to stop damaging the ozone. And not doing any environmental issues. We can also be doing stuff that helps with our environment.

Introduction

Do you know that chickens are in every place except Vatican city and antarctica? Read this so you can learn more about their physical characteristics, their habitat, predators and their food.

Physical Characteristics

Chickens have a lot of physical characteristics. 

Chickens have two wattles on the side of the chickens head and used for keeping them warm. Chicken earholes is thing on the side of their head showing what color their egg will be.

Food 

Chickens eat lots of different food.

Chickens eat table scraps, food scraps and they get that from the farm household. They also eat grains, fruits and vegetables.

Habitats

Chickens live in everyplace except the Vatican city and antarctica.Since you know that chickens are in everyplace except Antarctica and Vatican city. I will tell you which has the most chickens The country with the most Chicken is China.

The country with the second most chickens is the US.

Predators

Chickens have a lot of predators.

Chickens predators are colonel sanders workers/humans, dogs, skunks, house cats, foxes and raccoons.

Conclusion

Chickens are amazing animals.

Chickens have a lot of physical characteristics,

Eat a lot of food, live in all lot countries and have a lot of predators. What would you do if you got a chicken?

Polar Bear Writing

Hello, i've been learning about polar bears for a week. It was pretty fun. Here is what I got. 

Food

  Polar bears eat lots of different food. Polar bears like to eat seals,birds,penguins and eggs. Adult polar also eat their own baby/babies sometimes but it is pretty rare to happen. Polars bears also eat fish like we do.

Physical Characteristics

  Polar bears have many Interesting characteristics. Polar bears have sharp claws and sharp teeth. Polar bears have transparent fur and their skin is black. The reason why the fur is white is because the colour of the snow.

Predators 

  Polar bears only have a few predators. Polar bears don't have many predators. One of their predators is humans. Another are male polar bears.

Habitats.

Polar bears live in many cold places.

Polars bears live in snow places. Polar bears live  canada because its cold there. Polar bears live in russia as well.

Conclusion

  Polar bears are special animals. Polar bears have just a few predators. Polar bears have a lot of characteristics. Polar bears eat lots of food that we don't eat except fish. Polar bears live in cold places. What would you do if you met a polar bear? Thx
